This has more than likely been talked about for years, and I have missed it,but this thing of having to wait until all the cars have come back to the pits without being able to accelerate through really is a time waster for me. (I know that I can rush through but the scoring will be all out of sorts) Nothing worse than having to sit and wait is bothersome for me.
I like to start at the rear of the field and attempt to work my way through the field and I just hate to have to sit and wait.
So is there no way to make a fix for this?

You can fast forward up to a few seconds before the zero.
Then you need to let the time go to zero at normal speed, without fast forwarding.
After the chronometer has passed zero, then you can fast forward again.
Doing in this way the scoring will not be screwed up

I always exit at the end of practice and save the grid positions, then go back in to race. If you don't and you get a CTD during the race, the practice results aren't saved and you have to start again.
