The Targa Florio download is not dead.
Go to the GPL Track Database web site, search for Targa Florio, click button 'Get Track', then choose the version of the track that you want to download.

JzAr8, when you get to the Targa Florio website, go to page two. Scroll down to the bottom, and you'll see two pictures of the Porsche 910 on the left and right edges of the screen, with some smaller pics in between. Click on the either of the Porsche PICTURES to select either the standard download on the left, or the high-res/low-res options on the right. You will always need to install the standard version first, but if you think there is too much/too little detail for your computer to handle, then click on the right picture to update your installation. It can be a bit confusing.

(Edit: If the date on the Targe Florio website "newspaper" is correct (28th September 2009), then we're coming up to the tenth anniversary of this amazing circuit. Happy Anniversary to everyone, especially the Targa builders!)

(Edit 2: And I've just noticed that the download counter on the Track Database site has just clicked over 19,000 downloads for this track! Congrats!)
