Did you already add the gpl.exe as an exception to the DEP list in your Windows OS? Usually that's the cause.

It's a shame you don't use mods, you are missing out on some great content.

Sorry I don't understand your screenie;
are you using the CD to run the game?
That will not work on modern systems.

This forum may be everything but for sure not unfriendly. No one has posted anything unfriendly to you.

If you are really interested in getting GPL to work we will help you as we always try to do with everyone. In case language is a problem we can also try in your mother tongue which I think is German (so is mine).

If not please don't waste our time.

Like to ask about this issue with this guest and potential new members.

On some sites guests or new users are not allowed entry until verified and checked. Is this something we can and should be doing here at SRMZ to avoid spammers, scammers and retribates ?

I know we are all a friendly and free and easy group and don't want to hinder potentially new members, who can contribute, get involved and be an asset to our site.
But what price this site been contaminated in the future.
Apologies if this as been mentioned before or is already been done. With it been long ago that I joined this site,I cant quite remember the format ?

Thanks !

TP 😃

TP and all,

JMHO I prefer the easiest most convenient prudently secure access possible...to keep it a "public house" with the least admin/moderator involvement.
It has been my experience when being a newbie needing help, trying to get it from a forum that has too stringent posting requirements, is usually a waste of time because the forum's "quality-of-service" is off somewhere ignoring it's responsibilities.

Apologies for the poor grammar.

More sorry I missed all the fun tho.

Glad also there's someone here to clean it up.

Maybe this relates?
Here are my thoughts about being "in public."

:D

I dont see any need for restricting entry anymore than there already is. I could be mistaken but Kleinwelka is the first in a long time that has shown that kind misbehaviour. Neither have I seen an uptick either so dealing with these things on case by case basis seems to be a better way to go about it.Why punish other people who would enjoy GPL and this forum just because of a single inexplicably grumpy person.

i agree with you there Michkov Kleinwanker was just one person in many who use this forum theres no need to check everyone who joins

the more people who come here the better i say the admins can weed out the bad seeds later

btw this arsehole would like to Apologize to the rest of you arseholes for the use of the word arsehole (sorry a bit of Aussie humour there )

His name sounded familiar, we already tried to help him in the past.

http://srmz.net/inde...showtopic=11821

Google his name, and you will see he does this on several forums and gets banned everywhere.

Greetings, Marcel
