I'm getting an error when trying to re-pack a track .DAT file with winmip2 that I've un-packed and edited, and I'm not sure why.

What I'm trying to do is re-name a track/track folder.  I've done this many times before, by copying the .DAT and associated .LP and .INI files to a new track directory, re-naming the .DAT, un-packing it with winmip2, re-naming the .3do, .trk, .cam files, hexing the .pck to change the strings to the new rack name, and re-packing the .DAT file successfully.  Everything works fine, about 95% of the time.  Just a few tracks have given me problems with this method, however.   There shouldn't be anything else in the .pck file that's different, other than the strings for the new track name, and I've made sure that I've replaced all of them.   Is there something obvious I'm overlooking?
