I was tired of loosing 9 minutes for the warmup-lap on Nürburgring. So I changed the pit positions with the effect that all cars now leave the pits before the start/finish line. Timing starts immediately when passing the line (without a "lost" lap).
Works in training and qualifying mode. But be careful: tires are still cold !
Installation: Overwrite your track.ini in the nurburg-folder (mods use different track.ini as "track69.ini").

Hi andpan,

Thanks for your efforts and trying to help other drivers.

However, you may be interested in the Track Start Manager utility which can be downloaded HERE.

This allows you to adjust the start point for any circuit quickly and conveniently, and reset it again whenever you want. Note: It only works for training mode, not race practice.

Ahhhhh....I have been going crazy trying to adjust Dundrod for a practice session because I knew I had done it before with this utility  ........only for training mode  :hmm:  Thanks for restoring a bit of my sanity Saiph

Thx Saiph, I used track manager before, but it works only in training mode, because in qualifying the pit positions change every time.
So I had to find a way that affects the pit positions of all cars.
Maybe somebody can need my little tool  ;-)

I don't know about race mode, but in training mode, all one has to do - if using Pribluda anyway - is to go back up the track and come across the start line for timing to commence.
Probably get black flagged and banned for life in race mode ?  :punish:

Back in the days when VROC was busy I remember some servers had Nurby pit boxes way back before the final long straight, so you could get a bit of warmth in the tyres before starting  a flying lap.
