Mod Team many thanks for these CANAM beasts.

I haven't had alot of time to drive of late, but was wondering just out of interest why the 1971 season was the one that was decided to be modelled?

Thanks Craig

Found a good source for the "RC Cola" advert on the nose of Kemp's M8C.

How about Jerry Hansen in a Lola T220 at the 1971 Donnybrooke Can-Am event.

Nice work Greg ! Thanks for the Screenies the past few months. Any plans for the Ferrari entries of
Mueller & Adams ? Were they privateers ?

They were, but in a car we didn't model.

It must just be me, as no one else has mentioned this, but I find the Can Am cars brakes to be much more sensitive than any other Mod car brakes. They are almost like an "on-off" switch. I lock the fronts with just the slightest push of my brake pedal. I've moved the brake bias more and more to the rear but this just makes all four tires lock at the same time instead of only the fronts. Is it just my imagination or is there a setting I can change to reduce brake sensitivity? PS - I only race off line. Thanks!

Do you use a mod specific driver or the same for every mod?
Either way make sure you have calibrated the pedals before switching to another mod.

I'm lazy and use the same driver for every Mod. I have the '65, '66, '69 and Sports Car Mods. With all those the brakes work normally. No, I don't recalibrate the pedals between Mods.

not sure on the real origins, but any later than that and you'd have to deal with a way to simulate turbo chargers. somehow bob found something that felt like a turbo kicking in doing beta physics for the '71gts :P. that was mighty fun - not realistic for those cars, but mucho fun going over the mulsanne hump at just about 400km/h (just short of 250mph)... :D
