see thread: http://srmz.net/inde...showtopic=11847
Edit: See post #35 by Lee talking about sounds for Targa: http://srmz.net/inde...=30#entry126130
But AFAI pace notes for Targa Florio (or any other track) are not available for GPL yet and I haven`t read that anyone has started to create them.
I guess it would be a lot of work to create them for the GPL TrackSounds program.
There are Targa pace notes available for rFactor created by 6e66o: http://www.virtualr....enotes-released
They could be handy when someone should pick up the big task to create them for GPL.
I would like to try to create them for the GPL Targa but I just don`t have enough time atm.
Lee has created a nice program that gives you pace notes for GPL tracks.

Josef, the Targa Florio was always driven with only one person in the car after WWII.

For 90% of the track, the left corner will be followed by a right one
I think you have to drive it again and again and learn from your mistakes.
This way you get the satisfaction and the track the attention it deserves.
You can do it!
One lap a day.

Drive a lap and save the replay, crashes and all Watch the lap through to each point where you crash and then go back a corner and find a landmark and memorize it. You'll start to know where the tricky corners are and where you need to be slow.
Then repeat the process to find the start of the fast(er) sections. Learn the towns, learn the corners between the long straight and the start finish line, break the track into chunks, maybe practice each laptime sector separately.... you'll find certain sections of track will remind you of corners in other circuits and help you remember them.
For a few weeks I got up early and did a lap as if it was my daily commute to work, and if possible another lap in the evening too.
Good luck, it's a fantastic circuit and worth the effort in my opinion.

Like hagapito says, I can divided via landmarks, notorious corners, cities, etc.
Then you get e.g. something like this.
And in between these sector I can also remind myself what can of special corners are inside there.

Too bad the cars run in the opposite direction.

I will probably drive it with a notebook on my lap and make a note after I crash in each corner. The notes can be improved each lap.
Thanks to all involved with this awesome track.
