... for a mixed mod series ... 65 F1 and 66 F3 will compete on track at the same time ... lap times are comparable (65 has slight advantage) on specially selected tracks ... looking for 65 drivers, newbies welcome ... this short series starts Sept 15 ... we race every 2 weeks, Tues nites 9pm EST ... why not try something completely different ? ... all are welcome as 66 F3 drivers too

As a long-time member of the NAGPL, I can heartily recommend MZer's to take a look.  It's a gas!  :)

As a new meat with these guys I heartily encourage people to join up.  these guys have been doing this for years, they are knowledgeable and helpful and fast too.  The tracks selected for the season do not favor the 65 cars by much because they have been hand picked to nullify the 65 F1's HP advantage over the 66 F3's.  Different tracks, fun races and helpful fun racers... what are you waiting for??

our inaugural 65 vs 66F3 race at Falkenberg was a real hoot ... everyone was competitive and there was some intense dicing ... you don't have to be a FAST driver to be competitive ... if you are a middle of the pack 65 driver, you can still be competitive in this series ... if you are an experienced driver, using the 66F3's will provide you a challenge ... of course, fast doesn't mean anything if you don't stay on track ... if you can do that, you'll have fun in this series  :P ... we race every 2 weeks, Tues 9pm EST

:huh2:  Umm... You mean like waking up in the middle of the night to drive GPL online?   :zzzzz:

:batana1:

Sometimes it would be really handy if the world was still flat.  :P

Kanzo, if Urban A. from Sweden can get up at 4-5 am to race with us, why can't you ? ... maybe you are older than him ?  :P ... of course, he was getting up to go jogging anyway, either before or after racing ... that was a few years ago, tho

voda1, a 20 min qualy, followed by a short Heat race, of approx 15-20 mins, then a 15 min qualy session, followed by the 30-45 min Feature race ... only about 1 hr of actual racing but split up to allow naps

there are plenty of good explanations, threads and instructions on how to setup Igor/GEM

http://forum.racesim...ad.php?t=306901

to race in our current multi-mod series you will need Igor, and both 65 and 66 mods installed and working correctly

send me a pm

cheers ... Bob

Greetings Dr Tooth

with each passing day I am increasingly grateful that I am still alive and kickin'  :P

your own dedication to fitness should be a motivating inspiration to me, but .. ahh .. err... well    my nightly habits aren't conducive to early rising  :zz:

and still enjoying GPL after all these years
