Could some help me with how to post images on the forum?  Back in the old days I had Photobucket account but their free accounts went away.

It seems there is more than one way to do it.  Some images appear imbedded in the image while others you click on an they get bigger.  Any help would be appreciated.

This is what I do.

1) First select "More Reply options"

 post1.jpg   35.17K   9 downloads


2) Then Choose the picture file to include in your post

 Post2.jpg   28.89K   10 downloads



3) Attach the file.

 post3.jpg   24.61K   6 downloads


4) Then position the cursor where you want in the post and "Add to post"

 post4.jpg   41.68K   5 downloads


Repeat steps 2-3 to add further pictures.

So you are actually uploading the images rather than them be hosted elsewhere like Photobucket.  I can see that could get quite big, though it looks like you are limited to 30mb per user.  I guess once you have used that up, you will have to go back an clean-up some of your old images.

You can also embed image from different domain. For this one I used https://imgbb.com BBcode miniature option.

Wow!  That's a lot.  Still it seems like we should be judicious assuming the more we do, the bigger the bill at Bill has to pay.

One last question, how do you snag a image of the GPL menus or in game cockpit view?

Lots of screen capture programs will work.

I use FRAPS which is free for screen shot capture.  In the past I also just used Windows Game Bar (Winkey + G)

If you got Dropbox installed its screenshot tool will work too.
