The following tracks have dark skies and dark tracks (headlights needed):
Phillip Island 24hr_HR
Sebring24hr_GTP
Silverstone24hr_GTP
Spa24hr_GTP
Suzuka24hr_GTP
watkins_glen24hrGTP
infineon24hrGTP
sandy flats_GTN (aka Sandy Flats Nite)
Le Mans 2004 Night Beta ***
hockenheim night gtp ***
ZenJoltis_2004_Night Track (Quad oval) ***

The following tracks have dark skies with lighted tracks (headlights unnecessary):
Daytona_RC24hr_GTP
Fasturd_Enduro_NIGHT
kam valley night
MilanoNight
sebring_night ***

*** No GTP support in the track.ini  (some have fast gtp setups that allow track to load)

I believe most of these are available (except possibly MilanoNight), some right here at SRMZ.

Correct me if Im wrong but I think that I have seen somewhere that every track can be made to a night version if you only introduce a few generic files into the track folder.
Am I wrong?
By the way. Thank you veeery much Fortine for your fantastic 3_forty_9 townie.
It is an absolute fantastic track. But an fps eater too:-)

Hezemans
Glad you got it worked out.

BrunoB
The original 349 track was made by Kurt Morgan. I did the ai for that. I was enamored with the ocean view, so I encouraged Kurt to leave the track add-ons to a minimum.
349 Townie (& 349 no town) was a re-worked 349 by stefanodimera72. It has some changes to the track layout as well as all those add-on goodies. The lp's were done by stefanodimera. He may have used the track.ini values of 349, but I'm not sure. {By the time I'd finished with 349's ai (a plethora of series for 2 track layouts), I was burned out on the track and wasn't up to another round wth a similar track.}
BTW, I'm at least 2 seconds slower than your average laptime. You're one hellova speed demon.

Hey Fortine_oo
Does that mean you are talking about the 2 variations 3_Forty_9___StCC.zip/3_Forty_9__SpCC.zip and Im talking about the 3_Forty_9_No_Townie_WCR.zip/3_Forty_9_Townie_WCR.zip ?

Anyway Ill repeat my praise of the 3_Forty_9_Townie_WCR. I have never had so much fun with ANY other track. Period.
Its partly because of the details in the graphic workout and partly because of the great layout and elevations of the track.
Its so fuc**ng satisfying when you have drifted through a whole lap near perfection. And I say drifting because the way I tune setups these days they demand severe drifting if you want the GTP monsters to turn fast into a corner:-)

By the way. Thanks for you remarks about my laptimes. But how do you know about them? Im down in 1.21.029 aiming for 1.20 something.
But I think I saw somebody who was bragging a bit of a laptime of 1.18 something. This must be a cheater or a pure alien:-):-)
----------------
EDIT: Oh I just forgot the most urgent thingie which makes this track fantastic. Its the AI´s. Their driving lines, laptimes (at 104%) and behaviour (using BrunoB GTP AI-Hacks v.1.1) is up to the best human drivers, I think:-)

BrunoB

I was commenting on your "townie" laptimes. {I think the 3Forty9 SpCC course is a little tighter (slower).}
I read one of your other posts here at SRMZ.

Hello

Hezemans, I hope you enjoy racing on sandy flats night since you do have options for the track.. GTPD or GTPN..
I must say since I did finally get to do a pc upgrade new cpu, video card, monitor, running sandy nite in 1080 is a thing of beauty.

The track 349 by stefanodimera72.. is a fantasic piece of work..I was lost on what to do, with the background alone
the track looked good I'm glad i listen to Fortine on that...But it needed to have something else and Stefano was the guy I wanted to bring it to a different level..

Off to play in the sandbox  :artist:

Thanks Kurt

Hello!
To my opinion the headlights do not improve sight. Is there any possibility to switch them off?
:idunno:
Thank you.

Not that I know, but let´s see if an expert on editing cars or tracks can answer more properly :)
