Hello,

recently I downloaded Pribluda for my Demo2004. Unfortunately the PATCH.com does not work. I also tried this: srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=4412 and typed "y". But in the game still nothing happens when I type F4, F5 etc.

I use Windows 8.1. 64 bit. What can I do?

Thank you in advance :)

Have you tried the latest version?  No need to use patch.com

Thank you for the tip. I downloaded the zip, extracted its contents and copied them to the GPL directoy. But when I started the game and pressed F4, F5 etc., still nothing happened. Am I doing anything wrong?

It is many years since I installed pribluda, I hope this is correct.

This assumes you are using the GEM+2 utility to launch GPL.  This is needed for many of the GPL patches and Mod.  You can download GEM+2 from http://gem.autosimsport.net/index.html

If you download pribludav1121.zip from post #31 of the thread http://srmz.net/inde...t=30#entry48129

The files should be copied to your GPL directory except for enablepribluda.xml.  This is used by the GEM+2 program to patch GPL.  So enablepribluda.xml should be placed into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\GPLSecrets\GEM+\Options" folder (or wherever you have installed GEM+2).  Then in GEM+2 you will get an option to enable pribluda (see picture attached). So tick the option.

GEM+2 will then patch the GPL.exe when you launch it.  You then don't have to use GEM+2 again unless you want to turn off pribluda or alter any other patches. You can just launch (the now patched gpl.exe) directly.

I did exactly what you wrote, indeed the "enable Pribluda" option appeared at GEM+2, and I set the tick. But still, when I start the game and press F4, F5 etc while driving, nothing happens... Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

Sorry to here that Komet.  To be honest I have not tried the GPL Demo since it came out in 2004.  I thought that the GPL.exe was the same as the full version of the game, but maybe it isn't and that is causing a problem.

Did GEM+2 update your gpl.exe (it should update the timestamp)?

I see from above that you tried patch.com and that won't work on later windows versions.  Bernd Nowak did an updated patching tool for Pribluda (pribpatcher) that should work in Windows 8.  I can only suggest that you try this
