Wasn't there a mod at one time that showed the rear tires turning in the mirrors?

IIRC there are only static tyres in mirrors available. But the visible car parts in the mirror is just a picture so you should be able to add some blur to the tyre to make it look like its moving.

Speaking of mirrors...

Not meaning to hi-jack Scott's topic but can anyone explain to me why the mirrors in my F2 mod are borked?  And it's only the F2 mod.  I've swapped in mirror.mip from other known properly-working mods to no cure.  This has been going on for some two years now.

I can see other cars properly and can pick up track-side objects fading back but the friggin' track surface is gone.  I see the ground.mip showing.  Weird.

Check the in game settings for objects in mirrors.

As for moving tires, it might be possible to have them moving but they would still be moving in the pits.
Personally il'd rather have nothing obscuring my mirrors. The are already small enough :)

Keep in mind that graphics settings are diffeerent for each player name that you use, so make sure that your F2 player has the same mirror settings as your other player names.

Nah...  No way it could be something that simple, Bob & Martin.  No way...

WAS!

Taking the tip, I checked my other player personas and discovered that only the F2 mod had track and objects shut down in the mirror view.  All other mods had those ticked off and were never a problem.  Thanks for the tip cuz it's A-OK now!

Ah, GPL...  A never-ending learning experience.  :)

We now return you to our regular troubleshooting topic already in progress...
