Is there a way to access and control the GPL menu screens with the keyboard instead of the mouse?

If there isn't a way to use ther various left and right arrows is there at least a way to activate the green 'next' button; the one in the bottom right hand corner.

The red one in the left corner for going back a screen works with Esc key.
When you are presented with the warning dialogue to save changes in any screen, Enter (for OK) and Esc (for Cancel) also work.

I ask because it would be good to assign these keys to buttons on my steering wheel.

Get a keyboard emulator and map to your controller.

Joytokey and xpadder are a few to try.

I'm pretty certain that there aren't any valid keypresses for controlling the GPL menus. As you've found, the ESC key usually works for the 'red flag' button. And I've found that the ENTER key sometimes works for the 'green flag' button, but not always. I guess Papyrus didn't think it was worth including keyboard equivalents for the mouse.

Thanks, but I think the problem is mainly that there isn't a keyboard key that activates the Green button that I can map to anyway.

I can't quite remember but I think, as Saiph mentioned, the enter button may activate the green button 🤔 Give it a try.

Then you'll be able to use the emulators.
