Had a nice touristy day, went along to the show and I was prepared to be bored.... very bored.
Instead it was a joy to listen to all his anecdotes even though I'd somehow heard most of them before, his life story told in a humourous and self depreciating way. The only time he seemed to take himself seriously was when talking about Amnesty International. They had a Q&A session with the audience and despite being in his late 80s he was as sharp and as funny as ever.
An extremely funny and likeable guy, three hours just flew by.
