Hey guys, grats on the mod! I can't wait to drive it, however I'm experiencing CTDs when I click the green the green button to begin driving. Everything works fine up to this point, I've tried with or without the carsound patch, same result... I am, obviously, using the V2 rasts and all the other mods I use work on the same install of GPL  :o

Any clue as to how to fix that?

Only thing I can think off, are you using the 60fps patch? Only v1 will work with this mod.

Craig

Craig, actually the mod is only compatible with D3Dv2 so if you're using v1, please let us know how you did it.   :)

Forget *that*, when can we expect 1962 F1?  :P No sharknose in GPL would be a missed opportunity for humanity!

Great job guys!

Finally got to put some wheel time in.  WOW, these things are rocket ships.  It seems like your just motoring lazily along until you look down at the speed indicator or at the lap times.  The M8F's air fences give kind of a claustrophobic feeling as well.

Here are some teasers for you unfortunate souls who aren't home to install it.

*warning* big pics

Back again after an early post in the thread.  Well...

I've tried a lap or two in every chassis at Mosport.  HUGE FUN!  The Team has done a splendid job.  My thanks again.

I may dick around with the sounds a bit to achieve a deeper, throatier and LOUDER note from the big-bore Chevies and my recollection leads me to think that some tuning may be in order.  I did, in fact, take in all three days of the 1971 Mosport CanAm.  Our new mod is pure nostalgia.

My two sons, ages 13 and 16, find it curious(and that's putting it mildly)that ol' Dad buggers about with a game...err, product...that is coming up to fully 14 years old.  Lads, it's not getting older, it's getting better.

One thing...  Are there/will there be dedicated files to allow a user to use a specific skin?  I'm very keen indeed to drive John Cordts' M8C.
