Thanks TvO
you have news when released the Mod1968?
Bye
Niki

Hi Niki,

I don't have news about the estimated time of release of the 1968 mod, in fact I don't even know if it's being made right now. I can tell you however that a lot of the cars (if not all) that were present in 1968 are already a reality in GPL (at least the graphics, perhaps not all physics), made for other (work in progress) mods, so this will definately save a lot of time in the development process.

Hi friends
is it possible to create a World Championship for this mod?
Since 1968 had 12 stages, it's impossible to change g69.ini

It's not matter of life: i can export every race result and then make the final standing by myself.

Anyway, great job

You should be able to add tracks to any of the ini files.  In GEM > Seasons, just click on the g69.ini and move tracks in and out with the arrows.

Thanks, I don't know why but I thought that it would not work!

Installed the layout fix in post #17 and hex editted it to match the car pics and team logos I have in my layout folder. However the Brabham, Eagle and Lotus team logos appear too high on the screen. I used to have a note about how to work out the displacement location and move these up/down, does anyone still have this or can explain how to work it out.

Thanks

Hi mates
isn't AI too slow on straights in 68 (and 69) mod? I have to set the AI speed parameter to 0.9/0.93 if I want to race with some opponents. I mean, in Kyalami with a Lotus 49b ('68 mod) my time is 1:16:xx. At 1.0, AI fastest driver goes 1:19:xx. At 9.0, 1:15:xx, but AI car are slow on the front straight, so i can pass them every lap.

Is there something I can do to speed them up without setting a specific AI file for every track?

The symptoms you describe sound exactly like what happens when you race the AI with the 60 fps patch enabled. Does this still occur when you disable 60 fps in GEM+? Is this patch even installed on your PC?

60 fps patch is not installed on my PC, and 65, 66 and 67 mod go at the right speed (too fast for me, sometimes!)
