No worries leon. No hurry, just a pity it doesn`tr seem to work for me. I`ll try a few things in case I have something in my Ferrari folder I shouldn`t have but I don`t think so...

Will let you know how I get on. :)

Not sure what the base state of the installer is but in theory removing (best moving the files to another folder outside GPL) everything bar the ferrari.dat file from the ...\GPL\cars\cars67\ferrari\ folder should put you back to the default car. At worst you'll end up with the 98 Ferrari, but installing the updates again is easy as unzipping them into the folder.

I`ve tried installing leon`s update with the car from the original GPL CD in my GPL folder and still got the same error message and a no show for the car/update... I think that would be the same as you`re suggesting Michkov?

No, what I'm suggesting is you delete all files but ferrari.dat from GPL\cars67\ferrari\.
Next see if the game runs, that way you know the that the failure lies with the files currently in the folder or somewhere else.
Finally bring the car up to date again, checking while you go.

The issue is most likely a file the program cant find, but it's quite hard to tell which one. So I usually go for reset the suspected folder and start from the baseline. GPL is quite well behaved in that regard as you only need to concern yourself with a single folder in the most cases.

EDIT: Can you drive with other cars without AI present?

Ok Michkov, I`ll try doing as you suggest at some point today.

I`ve not tried driving other cars whilst getting the error with the Ferrari. I`ll try...

Ok guys, an update.

It would seem I had to download the GPLEA Ferrari 312 48v v3.0 then do as you suggested Michkov, remove all the files but the ferrari.dat, install the files in the 312 48v Standard folder from the GPLEA download and then install your update leon.

Anyway, it`s all working perfectly now.

Thanks again.
