Mouse Click Seems Not To Work During Setup?Bug
Posted Sep 09 2017 - 06:47 AM
When using the link for GPL 1.3: After calibrating my joystick, I tried clicking on the screen to set up which controls/buttons are needed for steering, accelerate/brake, gear up/down, etc., but the mouse clicks aren't working properly, and I can't select which control should perform any given action. The button graphic changes when clicking, giving the impression the mouse click event has occurred, but I don't have the ability to choose an action. (The mouse does work on other screens however.)
When using the link for GPL 1.2, the mouse doesn't appear to work at all. :-(

I have two links on my desktop to the following files:
I can leave the main screen when using gplc67.exe, but not with gpl67.exe
Thanks in advance.

GEM is a program you should use to start the game and/or it's mods. it is installed in a folder called 'GPLSectrets' -> 'GEM+' -> 'GEMP2.exe'. If you've used the GPL installer GEM is automatically installed along with GPL. In GEM you can also select the right graphical settings (use one of the V2 Rasterizers) and the patches you want to use. It will also rebuild the gpl67.exe everytime you change something.
And Michkov could be right, I don't know if you use any of the 60 fps patches, but selecting the wrong one can give problems like you describe here.

Everytime I've used the GPL installer it automatically installed GEM and IGOR as far as I know. Or could I maybe have used another type of installer/package to get the game running? (I've never installed GEM or IGOR seperatly)

I only installed what came with the default installer. So I presume I didn't install any 60fps patch???
I can't seem to see it in any of the available options in any case.
I'll investigate to see whether I can install the 60fps patch. Should I be able to do that through GEM?
