I tried changing the replaymemoryoveride to 128000, same result.  About 2 seconds after the guardrail ends in Les Combes the screen locks and flashes.  I then drove the track backwards and half way through Burnenville same thing.  I thn reduce te track side detail to few,  No difference.  It does work on the low-res but would like the high-res to work. Here is what my settings are:
Direct 3D7V2
Resolution 1024x768
Mirror detail - full
Trackside objects - all
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 2.0 GHz
Ram - 4GB
64 bit operating system
Really would love to race this gem of a track.

My only suggestion for you is to increase your system memory (RAM) to 8GB and then use the 4GB Patch on the donor gpl.exe file that you use for GEM+ mod patching.
You already have a 64-bit operating system - which is the other requirement.

Your CPU is a little on the 'weak' side for hi-res spa67, though.  So, my suggestion is really a gamble as to seeing an improvement.

Maybe changing the replaymemoryoveride to ~ 98 000 can help.

But your hardware is way below the specs needed for the high res,

- no dedicated GPU -> shared slow memory! and bad intel graphics ...

You should be happy that it works with the low res version ;)
