Don't know how many Robin Trower fans there are out there
Here are my favorite tunes by him
James Dewar's vocals are over the top!!!

Rich(Ratchet):drive:

I went to see Robin Trower with my dad last month!

My personal faves are Muse - especially when they do this kind of thing:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLceKLI7R8g

And anything by The Beatles.

I can't listen to anything while playing GPL - it takes ALL my concentration!!

But a real classic from 1967 is this one

While driving GPL I like to listen Neil Young, Dire Straits or Mark Knopfler.

Mark Knopfler is racer too. Here is interview with him where he talk about his racing cars and bikes:
part 1 -
part 2 -
part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4WuXfpBv2U
I think I saw one of Mark's first races, at Mallory Park driving a Lotus 23? Saw Dire Straits in Birmingham (1985).

I originally found these guys because I liked the theme song from the "Damages" TV series, but they do some other good stuff too, especially "Happiness Every Day".

The VLA

And an amateur friend of mine named Rosie. She's composed quite a variety of songs, but the one that really stands out for me is "I came to terms with nothing". Scroll down the player list if you want to find it.

Rosie

And while I'm at it, I might as well include a few other bands/people who I've been lucky enough to hear playing live in my town of Aylesbury. Most of them are local:

Claire Batchelor
Chrystina Tomlin
God of Small Things
Pause
Pete Lumley
Slashed Seat Affair
Thinking For Tuesday

Hope you find something to enjoy.

One of my favorite. Rory Gallagher Irish Tour, Walk on hot coals
The guitar is so great and the tension the whole band s builds up.
It's not only this song. I would recommend the whole Irish Tour double lp/cd for fans of 'real' rock music. But the Irish Tour movie is a great movie from a time long ago .... by todays meanings ... :)

YEAH! :D

I listen to Rory every day, Irish Tour has to be a favourite... Montreux Disk II also highly recommended... Rory is GOD  :iconcur:

Irish Tour's version of A Million Miles Away is in my top 5 of best musical pieces. I want them to play that when they stick me in the ground 60 years from now  ;)

Others:

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Live at the El Mocambo - Texas Flood -
Ten Years After - Live at the Fillmore East - Help me
Freddie King - Key to the Highway - every friggin' song on it :D - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdPD1rcQlig
Buddy Guy - Sweet Tea - Tramp
The Red Devils - Live at Pinkpop - Time To Cry - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBx0GxmAPPc
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Pendulum - Have You Ever Seen The Rain

And for the NASCAWR lovers among us: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zf0lUCz3QG0
How much pussy must those guys have had :D
