Not a 4 Wheeler guy His life was devoted to Motorcycles. Not seen this reported here so here goes.

http://www.bbc.co.uk...rsport/39972058

Always been a big fan of him. He Won the MOTOGP title in 2006 ending Valenteno Rossi's 5 year winning streak and continued to race in WSB right up until the week before his untimely death. Spent his life hurtling around race tracks at nearly 200mph all over the world and he get killed out cycling. Life isn't fair. :(

Difficult to find anyone who ever had a bad word to say about him even before this week's tragic event. One of the sports true gentlemen. I for 1 will really miss him.

RIP Nicky.

Yes a real shocker this one.

Can't believe it and the cause of his death, considering his past racing exploits.

God bless him.

According to the Police, he had earpieces onwith his iPod running, completely missed the stop sign and went into the crossing willy-nilly. The Peugeot driver who hit him, according to the evidence and security cameras there, did everything he could to avoid him, all while driving in the speed limits.

I'm sad he passed, but Nick acted like an idiot to be honest, when he should've known better.
