Well, I am embarassed to say I am only now looking at this topic again after so long. I did not get my GPS walk done last year. The only thing I've managed to get is a GoPro video while on my bike going around what is left of the banking. I must say Ginetto's track looks very very good! The color of the hills surrouding is very good and the trees that are around the circuit are very much like what is there. Amazing stuff!

Josef, if you have the will and the time it will be very great to have a GPS trace of the circuit and some brief notes about turns cambers (like inside is lower from outside of about 2 feet...) that you can still see nowadays
I just stop my work on this because I kinda need that sort of info, otherwise there is the beta already released. .

Well, I hope to do it one day. I really don't know when I will be there again. I may have more luck trying to get someone already there to do it for me. It may happen in GPL time! Thanks for your continued interest, Ginetto.

If I remember correctly ... there are two beta versions of Paramount Ranch, by two authors, one being ginetto.

ddangermouse Keith passed me a project to finish since the original author did let it go and I was building it, changing the layout to a more realistic one, trying to find any info around to recreate it as best I could but then Brian Adams , which is the author of the original track given to me by Keith, did appear after 10 years or so and posted his beta.

If you are still asking for data, there are old aerials on https://www.historicaerials.com/ including one from 1959 etc
And the google earth imagery has 3d imagery for the area if you turn on 3d buildings and terrain. (It's a lot better than the standard imagery).
Of course certain parts have changed but it should be good for elevation for the others.

Ginetto, would you finish the track provided you get data and material?
The track has a nice layout. It could be a blast to drive.
Fingers crossed that it will ever get finished.

This is the kind of detail you will get from google earth:

Obviously there are problems with trees and things and it's only of certain quality because it is satellite / aerial lidar, but it seems reasonable (compare the street view sections to the 3d view).
