I have problems with loading Avus at Night, first it doesn't show up in GEM but it does show up in the track selection screen in GPL.
But when I select the track it gives an error that it cannot load the track.

One thing I noticed is that when I install the track, there isn't created a seperate 'avusnite' folder but it instead uses the same folder as the regular Avus track.

I've played pretty much every night track by now, but this is the only one that gives me trouble. :(

Millennium, start from scratch and please try following the installation steps here - http://srmz.net/inde...showtopic=11893

Or ... use the complete track folder D/L there for each track, both AVUS and AVUSnite.  :)

Ok, I somehow got it to work now, but it was a bit weird to get it working right.

Because the Avus at Night installer by Fast Tommi doesn't create a 'avusnite' folder but instead wants to install to the regular avus folder.
So you have to create that map yourself (or use the downloadable folder you linked).

It then did load correctly when I transfered the installed files to the new avusnite folder I downloaded. However that 'avusnite' folder contains horizon and asphalt mips the gives the track a daytime look.
So the get it to work right you have to remove those files again, all in all a bit confusing.

Yes, you are correct.  The installer by Fast Tommi does not create the avusnite track folder.  It has been such a very long time ago when I first installed that night version, that I did not remember that fact.  Sorry.

The best way to install the AVUS night version is to use my complete track folder.... or ..... use whatever files that you personally like.  :)

Your complete folder help me to get it to work. :)

But there are sky, horizon and asphalt mips in that 'avusnite' folder that need to be removed, otherwise you still get a daytime version of the track.

Please go to the AVUS topic here for a small update.  I forgot to use the correct track55 and track.ini files with the fog section.   Try that set of files.  Thanks!  :)
