Just raced the track, great job, just need the A.I. fix from ed76 :
http://srmz.net/inde...topic=8268&st=0

Noooo !!! Don't do that ! It has been made for the beta version !

This is the final version and of course the AI has been redone ! So if you use the AI from ed76 I can't guarantee a correct functioning...

Please, be kind and remove of your post the link for the old ed76 AI, it can mislead a lot of people... Thanks in advance

Actually it did work better for me, without it the A.I. is too slow, and believe me i'm really slow.

Too slow......

Well... It's weird because after testing, the AI was in Pro Mode more or less between 1m43s80 and 1m44s30...
Unless I made a mistake, and I do it all the time !
Could you confirm these value ?

If you want to adapt the AI speed to your taste, it's sincerely easier to modify it with GEM+, see the picture :)

With the fix (F1 1967 mod), i put the strength at 1.96 'cause i'm a slow driver (A.I. is doing 1m48s, 1m49s).
Anyway the fix is working for me in any mod.

With the fix, I suppose you mean with the ed76 AI...

So normally, if you re-install the track to have the actual new AI (that is better because the lines are more realistic and also because now the AI overtake...) as I wrote you, the AI will be around 1m53s and 54 in the Pro Mode. Try it, adapt its speed with GEM+, and normally you should see a difference during your races... The AI is clearly better in terms of behaviour and offer you to make races with more fun :)

Thanks for your answer, and have a look to your private message Angus ;)

Thank you very much Ginetto, Denis Bertrand and Greg Liebzeit for updating this nice track!
(Also thank you GPLRACER drivers for testing the track online.)

Note: The track folder pi67 contains files for alternative yellow distance signs before corners in the zip file "signs_yellow" (default are white signs).
Unpack "signs_yellow" in your pi67 track folder and GPL will display yellow signs. If you want the default white signs back just remove the 4 sign mip files again.

I have updated it on the GPLTD and also added a screenshot.

Thanks for this nice work Denis and team. I am thinking this looks like a good substitute for Warwick Farm.

Not tried it yet but saw it on YouTube and wow! Also I've only driven the track before in iRacing and it's nice to see the track is pretty much identical to the modern version it seems as best I remember it.

Here is as the title says a final version of Phillip Island, a track very well known for his bikes races, but also used with cars, and which is definitely very very fun !

Okay, I know that some of you are expecting some other tracks, but rest assured, they will be released soon !

What a wonderful surprise! Thanks to all of you who contributed to this piece of art. I did not even know this track probably because it was always on a beta status and therefore not well known to the community. Excellent idea to accomplish the work started more than ten years back! Beside the beautiful textures the track reveals excellent driving physics. The elevated curves remember me a little bit the Zandvoort circuit - but faster. Pure fun to drive this track. This track has a real flow. The circuit has the potential for me to become one of my favourite tracks - not only for the Tasman carsets.

About the other tracks to be expected. Can you give us (your fans!) some hints? Are there other unknown hidden trasures in the GPL Track Database to be accomplished? E.g Brooklands, a better Indinapolis, Anderstorp....? Or are you working on completely new tracks?

Thanks a lot for your kind comments 221teddy and all of you ! :)

I'm totally agree with you, it's pure fun to drive this track and it has a real flow, I'm so happy that some of us can discover it !

About the other tracks, discretion is required... But be certain that you will have some nice surprises these next months... ^_^

Personally, I have a graphical update for Laguna Seca67 that is (was...) in progress, but real life these last months is increasingly constraining, so I don't know when it will be released...
