Hello,

Here are 67th rankings for:
September 2019: http://race.eolc.de/...ann/2019_09.png

October 2019: http://race.eolc.de/...ann/2019_10.png

Fall 2019 (September + October): http://race.eolc.de/...nn/Fall2019.png

How works  the ranking procedere?
There are four factors (a*b*c*d):

a: The normal 67 score
1th = 9 (minimum 5 participants)
2th = 6 (minimum 5 participants)
3th = 4 (minimum 5 participants)

4th = 3 (minimum 7 participants)

5th = 2 (minimum 9 participants)
6th = 1 (minimum 11 participants)

It's the same like in Rookie4evers World Ranking.
Only drivers that have finished 90% of the laps of the leader get a score.

b: Leagues with one grid gets factor 4. Leagues with two grids gets factor 6 for the first grid and factor 1 for the last grid.
In case league uses PRO mode or doesn't allow ShiftR outside of the pits factor b will be increases by one.
You find this value on the right of the name of the league.

c: The number of participants, because ist harder to win a race with 18 participants than with 6 ones. You find it on the right of the race date.

d: A chassis factor:

Lotus = 1.0
Eagle= 1.2
Ferrari = 1.5
Brabham = 1.8
Cooper = 2.2
Honda = 2.3
BRM = 2.5
You find it between the race score and the total bold rank score.

Only 67 leagues are used, because with MODs it's unpossible to use a chassis factor.
Seven (67th) leagues are included: HIES, GELI, OAO, UKGPL, MYBROGA, PGPL and GPL Brasil.
For all drivers only the best two races are used per month.

For the overall ranking the month ranking scores will be added. November and December will be combined because not all leagues are active in December.

Thanks McMirande,

I decided to make a small changing.
PRO leagues or "near by PRO leagues" (leages that prohibit ShiftR outside of the pits) get an a bit higher factor b (see first post), because it's easier to often win in INT races than in PROs.

I hope I understand UKGPL correct. Works and Privatiers starts at the same server, but only for privaties is ShiftR allowed everywhere on the track? And the Goodyear guys are the Works and the Firestones guys are the Privatiers?

October and fall ranking (September + October) are avaible (see first post).

Now seven leagues are included. New are PGPL and GPL Brasil.
The Mybroga race from 29/10 was omitted, because the datas are not avaible.

The final fall ranking will be published in December after the last 67th race.

November and December will be combined because not all leagues are active in December.

I think it's clear who will be the fall master, but who will be the runner-up?

Nice work Olaf!

Edit: Also Lance de Boyle is Doni Yourth :)

Ohhh, it's criminal. :swear:

But seriously folks...that's exctlactly what I was thinking and feared as I began with this project.

I have to say this is the moment to say Goodbye to this project. It's to complex for me. :bigcry:

It's very difficult to manage the datas in Excel because the worksheets have to be sorted and resorted in dependency from the other worksheets. And after this complex process I have to copy and and past it in four pieces to create a png file. It costs to much time and isn't good for my nerves.
Normally all should work better with a databank, but it costs also to much time to develop the system…

In case anyone have the nerve to follow up this project here are my Excel worksheets.

Hi Olaf,
I know your pain. These forever changing aliases drive me crazy too. :)
I will check if I can set up a this program on Weekly. We used to have something similar ranking system in HGPLM league.
Cheers.

Besides 67, I already have a good measure for 69 mod cars but not for the others. Can anyone scale up the cars for each mods from 100 (best, fastest) to 250 (worst, slowest)?

Here is the TC mod for a start

Thundercars
Bitzarini Special 100

For the others, how about using the laptimes in the database?

Take the season, or if you want to compare across mods a select couple of tracks. Take the mean, or median if you dont want to bother about the outliers, laptimes for each car. Sum the laptimes across the season and you should have a ranking of the cars.

There is some driver influence in the laptimes, but the more laptimes you got the lesser that impacts the times.
