Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get realistic setups for all mod years in all cars. Most important are the 1967s, I know you can setup the cars unrealistically and be quicker, but I'd rather drive them as they were supposed to be driven.

Thanks!

The GPL Track Database doesn't just store tracks, it has quite a lot of setups as well, especially for the more popular circuits. Try having a search around on there, I'm sure you'll find some interesting bits and pieces.

I'm not sure how you would define a "realistic" setup. Most of the cars from the GPL mod eras didn't have half the adjustment options that GPL has. As one team member put it "we just used to change the gearing to suit each circuit, and told the driver to compensate for everything else!"

However, some of the more experienced setup gurus may have some advice on keeping your setups within reasonable limits. Good luck!

Yeah search for setups by FloP, he was quite studious about realism.

Check out a similar thread here, quite interesting especially Stefan's link to real BRM setups  :)
