Robert Fleurke is HIES Champion of 2019!!!

We congratulate and stand in awe of this mans driving skills. The whole package is very, very solid and sturdy. Be it race pace , Q pace , consistency , racecraft etc.. Robert is a seriously hard nut to crack and will represent our upper benchmark in the upcoming 2020 season where he will be driving a Cooper as defending champion. (He should be driving a Clio)

We had a small hope that the tirewear would represent a possible curveball for him but he has been on top of that from race 1.

We are now driving 60 min races in HIES with a good balance between a zero stop and a one stop strategy. A clean solid race will provide drivers with the opportunity to finish a race on the same set of tires. A not so solid drive will most likely require a stop for fresh rubber.

All those who are curious about the dg patch and want to go a slightly different gpl route are welcome to join us regardless of rank , level or pace. 2020 is gonna be a good one. We will be moving to a new version of the dirtgear patch (8.0) with a more sensitive and consistent damage model for all and a slightly increased slipstream effect.

Welcome!

Thanks for the organisation! I'm extremely happy that Olaf's patch was finally embraced by a league. Long live Historic Esports!
