We've tried everything, re-installing windows gets it working for a few days then it updates itself and everything stops working. It's even been back to the manufacturer who've changed some hardware under warranty and reinstalled windows... same thing happens. Next step is probably a refund.

Not that I've got any free time to sim race at the moment anyway :(

BTW, the Maserati is part of the Red Pack DLC and is half price at the moment ;)

It can't and probably never will.

But there's still some fun to be had with it. :)

What's really surprising, considering that is not AC's forte, is that the sound too is great!! Cannot wait for the P4 and the 312/67!! It's gonna be incredible

GTO:  Wow... simply WOW! Fantastic looking model!

The GTO Berlinetta was one of the cars that came in my very first Strombecker slot car track back in Christmas of '63, I think. I've admired them ever since!

Want to take a ride in one being raced? Here 'ya go!

Great video. Thanks for posting it. I'm not sure i'd have the guts to race such a beautiful rare car. Although you can see he was being careful.

Every time he went through the chicane I was saying..........NOT SO CLOSE!!

"I'm not sure i'd have the guts to race such a beautiful rare car."

MY thoughts exactly!!  My lands what courage to take that priceless piece of auto racing artwork out there and put it at such risk!!

However... it sounds OH SO GOOD at full song... so I'm glad he did!

To bring this thread back to its title  , WAY back someone said that that gear ratios of the 49 were fixed and the only transmission change available was on the final drive ratio - does anyone know what those ratios (box and final drive) were ?

Aris, who talked with the Lotus mechanics who worked on the car back in the day, told that they said that basically they could make whatever change they wanted to because they always brought with themselves a set of tools and dents which allowed them to. I believe that was more in '68 however, as Clark seems to say that in 67 he raced with a fixed gearbox, always with the same exact gear ratio on all tracks
