"...............we also got some very helpful input from Ken Murray too,............"

Interesting comment Rob.

As you may know Ken helped evaluate many of my Alpha builds of Isle of Man; both versions, but a few years ago I lost his contact details in a HD crash and coincidentally, he has not responded to a PM sent here or by email since then.

He has not been active here since 2015 and a Facebook page he had is also inactive.

This just makes me sad, because I fear the worst.

At least his image will be holding the board at Pit Exit for a long while.

Dundrod really is a challenge in GPL, a great test of accuracy - after a few tries in a few cars, I have now gotten sub-3:30 in the GPL Brabham at the recent HIES race :).

At the jump, you really have to think how far to push it every time (never mind every other corner as well!) - I'm sure it would be the same here too!

Deer`s leap is possibly the worst or most challenging corner drop in all of gpl. Not sure how many laps Ive put in at Dundrod but it has to be well into the hundreds by now. The double drop is the place Ive gone off the most probably. But once its dialed in you can go through it at 215 - 220 kph. But that also means its all or nothing every time.

The greatest thing about Dundrod is that it doesnt really look that fast at first glance with all the vegetation and such and the sense of speed is off the chart but as the laps are put in you find that there is a lot to be gained and its much faster than what one would expect. I started at 3:32 + and never imagined that almost ten seconds could be gained from where I started. The flow is awesome and all sections are just a blast to drive.

I'm happy to hear you've found yourself a new project. I'm a big fan of your tracks, Dundrod particularly, so much fun :D
I look forward to this next one

Great news, Dundrod is one of my favourite tracks for GPL, looking forward to another road racing venue by Jim.

(The picture of Moss is at Brands Hatch the same year)
