Btw. After the video I added the driver some more character (character joint in a matter a fact) since he seems to be quite stiff and excited in the video.

Now it behave a little bit more natural. The problem is that I should get the hands locked to the steering wheel so I could give it even more natural behaviours :D

Oh and have to update the road surroundings a bit in the future. Now it seems to be too flat from time to time.

Nothing much to tell but I´ve been fighting with race position indicator lately and have been "rewriting" the scripts for lap timer and so on. Now my race pos indicator is working somehow good (still a little buggy) so I might start updating the track details again. Also should start optimizing the graphics so this game could be played with some "older" computers :)

Got me thinking that I might start tweaking FFB and physics a bit so its driveble with wheel and then update the graphics.

Waiting for my new wheel to arrive cos my old MOMO isn´t the perfect tool anymore for developing purposes :D

Which wheel have you decided on? Fanatec Clubsport wheel is top notch :)

I did get Logitech DFGT because I don´t have much money atm. But I believe it should be ok´ish wheel for my developing purposes. And since I don´t have much time to seriously drive I think this wheel is good enough for me atm.

I still have my old Logitech MOMO (red one) too but it needs some fixing here and there..

Seems that I cannot stick to one thing at the time so I decided to start developing some kind of options/settings menu. I had the idea that you could adjust few options while you are ingame (realtime) so you can see the changes immediately.
Atm current version is working a bit unstable for few options so might need to drop these options which can be adjusted throught main menu.

Oh and if you have suggestions for this options menu feel free to give´em here :)

Well Ive been building this GUI menu system for this game for awhile. These menus are not too fancy, quite simple actually without any sliding/blinking/splashing-dingdong effects. I dont really like much about the effects that most of the games these days use in their menus. And the whole system works faster without them :D

Basically my menus work now the way that user could design his/her own menu graphics with Photoshop and export them to the game.

And when I get some basic options/settings to work throught these menus Im going to continue shaping and optimizing the game itself (Improving 3d models etc.).

simplicity and funcionality are a plus. Leave the eye candy where its needed most :)

I think this is it for now. This is the current shape of the main menu. Atm I have only raw Profile and Options menus working but I think the basic stuff for menus are done for now.

Today I was thinking that I should find out someway to start earning money so I could drop out my daily job and could start doing this game as fulltime. Havent yet found anything though. Should probably make some nice mobile game and get rich selling it...
