Does the 67x offline version need to be installed for the online version to work?

Hi All,
Just a quick question.. Is there a version of GPLSM which recognises the set up extensions used by this mod? I know for the common cars I can copy and rename existing set up's (ea1 -> kg1 for example) and that all seems to work but I was wondering if any version of GPLSM recognises these extensions directly?

Thanks in advance

John.

Hauls2 is running the Pappy Glen track. I would like to put up two tracks on the server with 1 hour practice each.
What two tracks would you guys like me to use?
Warren

(2) Extract it to your GPL folder replacing files and combining (or mixing up) folders (don't replace folders)

Hi Guys,

I don't understand what "  replacing files and combining (or mixing up) folders" means
could that be put in different words or something please ?

I asked the same question a while ago and a kind chap answered but I still don't understand :(

cheers
Pete

Hello Pete!

Some versions of windows (from Vista, I think) allow to "combine" folders. That is, if you copy a folder over an existant one with the same name, the new files will be added to those you had in that folder. If some files have the same name will be overwritten.

Older windows versions (xp) will completely replace the folder with all its content with the new one. Thus, you'll lose all the original content of the folder.

So, you'll have no problem unless you use windows xp. In that case you'll have to be more careful with which folder are you overwritting.

Cheers. Marcos

So I downloaded the zip file but can't get 9zip to open and download. I get an "undetermined error" message The program says it will unzip.rar, 7z, 8z files. Any ideas?

Hello Phil. The program is called 7zip, not 9zip (maybe I put it wrong).
If it still cannot be uncompressed try a right click in the file and look for "uncompress here" or something similar among the options.

Cheers. Marcos
