Hi
If I click on the Seasons button in Gem I get an error message pop up

'GEM+ Fatal Error Debug Information.

GEM+ has encountered a situation it cannot handle.  This could be the result of a bug in GEM+ or something in your GPL installation which I've not taken account of.'

I have attached the full Debug txt.

The result is that Gem closes automatically.
In all other respects Gem seems to be operating without issues.

I have emailed the debug txt but as yet had no response so wondered if anyone else has had this problem and of course if anyone can help with a solution!

When I have troubles with  GEM I do delete or rename the gem.ini

You have to make the GEM settings again from scratch, but it cures everything...

If you're a GEM+ expert, it's sometimes possible to edit the gem.ini file and fix these types of errors; however like Cookie said, the easiest fix is to delete the file and add your GPL installations again from scratch.

Thanks for the help guys! All fixed thanks to your combined advice.

For anyone else having the same problem......I found the idea of uninstalling and reinstalling GEM rather daunting not because I did not trust the advice but more concerned about my competence to get it right.

1]  So, first tried to rename the GEM.ini which I found in the public documents. Thought this was the least invasive thing to start with.
Restarted GEM which had me reset the language and point Gem at the GPL file.
When it opened fully all my settings were there but so was the problem!

2]  Bit the bullet and uninstalled GEM from the control panel. I have Bitdefender which did not allow me to uninstall the associated GEM files in public documents. Decided to go with this on the basis that if the reinstallation still had issues I could just uninstall again and remove manually or give Bitdefender permission before a second install
Reinstalled GEM from my GPL downloads backup depository. Allowed Bitdefender [when prompted] to access the files in public documents.
Started GEM. All good and everything there tracks cars etc. The only thing missing was the head movement patch which took 1 minute to put back in the GEM options file.

Everything now seems to work as intended. Not yet run it on track [always use GEM to access GPL] but can't think why I should have any issues.

"I have Bitdefender which did not allow me to uninstall the associated GEM files in public documents."

That's the problem!
so you could not remove or rename gem.ini in the first attempt.

I hate such software that does not allow me as admin changing things!!! They are useless!
