Thought this is quite a topic to share.

In the last few days I regularly read in my newsfeed about this British F4 driver.
Last week he suffered an humongously terrifying crash in which he crashed into the rear a very slow going car at full speed.
An accident he could do little about.

So today the news came out that both his lower legs had to amputated.
A fundraiser has been made to support the family and help with funds for the treatment.
The aim is to get £260'000. It's the first day of the fundraiser and they already close to reaching the goal (at 23.00 CET).

Very sad news.

I was there on Sunday spectating and a couple of friends were marshalling (fortunately for them not in the Starkeys area).  We feared it would be bad news as the extraction from the car took so long (nearly 2 hours).  The video is very scary.

Heard a radio interview this morning with a family/team member (I just missed the start so not sure which).  They reported he is doing better in hospital and already thinking of how to work a hand clutch!
