With the gpl65 map I meant the folder in the Mods folder, but I figured it out. I have activated your patch in GEM before starting the game.

All the other cars show the needle in a good position with your patch. Except for the Cooper, which was already off in the original 2.0.2. version of the 1965 mod.

*Edit* I just discovered that the numbers on the gauge are different in the updated carset! It goes from 1 to 11 instead of 1 to 12! It basically means that your patch puts the needle in the right place for the original Cooper, but because the graphics of the update are changed it's now off by exactly 1000 rpm. :)

Yes, I made the patch based on the carset that Denis sent me back in Nov.  That used a Cooper tachometer with a maximum of 12,500 rpm.  Apparently, between now and then, he changed the dash .mip to use a 11,500 max rpm tach.

I can fix it.  Give me a few days.

Here is v2 of the patch which fixes the Cooper tachometer.

If you've already installed the car .3DOs, then all you need to do is use the new patch as the car .3DOs haven't changed from v1.

Hi sorry, I wonder if the Ferrari 3DO is missing from the files in post #63 .

No.  The Ferrari .3do in the original carset works fine.

Thanks for this fix - I've never looked at the dials so closely before!

As a result of this, I have noticed that the ammeter needle in the lotus 33 cockpit looks OK in the 65 mod, but in the 66 mod, whilst correctly centred, the needle points off the scale clockwise...... Is there a fix for this in the 66 lotus that I have missed?
