I have a Thrustmaster TMX wheel and have added a Logitech G29 Shifter connected to the Puter via a Bodner adaptor,
Arduino Yun is the 3rd down on the Control Panel. In GPL Shift I have:  Shifter_Model = 3.USB and  Shifting_Behaviour = 1.

I can get 1  2  3  4  5  no 6th or Reverse???  

I started Racing GPL  in 98, first time I have had any problems, I am 74 and have a little problem understanding the settings in GPL shift with the new wheel and shifter, always worked fine with my old G27 wheel and shifter.

Works fine in i Racing.

ANY HELP APPRECIATED.

Have you tried other shifting behavior settings?  I would start with that. At least that would tell you if the same mapping points of the shifter are not being recognized.

I would try experimenting with some of the settings to see if you can get it to work fully, after making a backup of your GPLShift file. The top part where it says [GPL Buttons] CountingButtonsFromOne, you can choose either 0 or 1 for the setting, try the opposite of your setting and see if that makes a difference. If you have some of the other settings mapped, like the Car Reset and so forth, then I would try turning them off and making sure there isn't a conflict preventing shifter from working fully.

Hopefully someone with knowledge of working with a Bodnar Adapter and GPL can offer some advice.

This is what I find most amazing, I have never managed to get a G27 shifter to work with GPLShift.
It's for this reason that I repaired the motherboards of my two G25 (MOSFET burned)...

So with the G29 shifter I would personally have doubts about the possibility of achieving this..

I have finally got 1t to work but only in  5 gear and Reverse, I cannot get the 6 gear and reverse configuration.

Barely any car has 6 speed gearboxes. AFAIK only the BRMs have 6, most of the others have 5 and the Chappys only have 2 or 3

Hi guys, I am having a similar problem. I recently bought a Thrustmaster T300 and decided to use my old G27 H shifter with a USB adaptor. Works great with GPL Shift, with the problem that it does not recognize the reverse. I've tried all configurations in GPLshift.ini but still no reverse. Of course I can override it for most cars changing the shifter behaviour, but it still won't work for the 6 gear cars.

Has anyone found a solution for this?
