Hi,
At Talladega and Daytona superspeedways white stripes on oval were always longer than on other tracks. This Daytona track has too short stripes, I think. So I modified two files to increase lines length.

Hmm, from your pictures all seems to be ok. I will chek some pictures on my PC at home tomorrow. But I don't know what to say now

From pictures: one line = 2 x length of Ford Galaxie '63 = 2 x 209.9 in = 419.9 in

Ford GT40 length = 160 in
Ferrari 330 P3 length = 164.8 in

So one line is about 2^1/2 Ferrari or Ford length  

But all lines had not the same length, I think. And your track stetch asphalt textures in some parts also.

Would it be much work to recompile the track in oval configuration. I just ran a race on the converted Daytona which looks blunt and boring compared to your  RC version. Also the Oval seems to be off at a couple of places. The trioval is much steeper than the real one and the start is on the apron of the S/F straight.
So if its not too much trouble would you consider doing a Daytona Oval?

I will check existing versions and I will consider to make a new oval from the road course

I just tried the DL and everything download as supposed here

Perhaps Phred is not able to open the zip file.This was the case when I first
downloaded the Sportscar Mod,I couldn't get the 24 hrs Daytona ,Monza 1000k
and Sebring67 tracks until later when I installed a free zip file program.

Are you using 7zip to unzip it? It's free and works great.
All the latest mods now are zipped using 7zip because can give half size files than zip or even rar

Ouch!  Sorry about that.  I'd forgotten that archived files uploaded here require 7ZIP.  I use it too.... but the .ZIP file extention tricked me.  

Thanks for giving me a nudge.  I need one sometimes.
