Hi, came back to try the excellent 55 Mod and on a brand new install following the Easy Installation Guide straight through. I have everything working but no force feedback. Gem has the default values and the T500 wheel is left at its default as well. Any ideas?

Thanks for your time!

Running Windows 10 forgot to mention and the wheel works with other sims...

I can confirm T500 should work with GPL fine (I'm on Win 7 though). Download and engage "FFB2 patch" by Petteri, maybe that will solve your problem (I use it as well).

I got it to work!

In Windows 10 you need to check "by the wheel" under Auto-Center Settings and adjust your values from there as far as how much feedback you want.

Do you get any feedback from hitting chicanes, walls, etc... I do not and not sure where to adjust for that?

Thanks for your response!

In the main G.P.L. folder there is a file:  core.ini

Edit with a text editor ie Notepad

(experiment with the values for your wheel)

The feedback should be there, although compared to other sims, it's very, very light from hitting the wall and only little stronger from hitting the curbs. That's how it's always been in GPL, however, and T500, with its strong mechanical damping makes these effects even more muted. I never paid much attention to it, however, 'cause if you're not supposed to be hitting them anyway :D.

Touche Art!

Good to know your experiences as well. I got it just about perfect thanks everyone for chiming in. Now I'm off to go keep it out of the armco :)
