New Thruxton Update

Here is my update for Thruxton.
It is based on Dave Sabre's original track and Ginetto's fix from October 2010. The track layout is unchanged but there are many new objects, textures and a new AI.

Denis ( Db312 ) helped with some beautiful textures.    ( There are high resolution versions attached to this post. )

Pavel made a new AI that is a vast improvement over previous versions and gives you a good race with all mods.

Ginetto helped us with the .trk

IMPORTANT - This update is a complete installation of the track and does not require other files.
Because this update includes different 3do and textures it is not compatible with previous versions of the track. Therefore if you have Thruxton already installed on your system you must rename or remove it before installing this one.

INSTALLATION - In your gpl/tracks folder remove or rename any previous version of thruxton.

Unzip the attached "gpltrackinstall_thruxton_v1.0" archive.
Run the installer

Clandestines starts the 2020 championships with the 2ªWSC for modSC, where each driver can use only one car of each
brand during the championship. Simultaneo will have the  5th USAC for mod55 allowed only to the Mercedes W195 car.

Gpl 2020 Demo Only (Very) Partially Recognises Controllers

Posted by Timo Vermeersch in GPL-"Help! I'm having trouble with..."
Hi guys,

I downloaded the GPL 2020 demo yesterday and tried to install it.

I can however not get my controllers installed/calibrated. I run the following:
- Thrustlmaster GT500 RS wheel
- a set of old Virtual Performance Parts pedals
- an SST shifter.

All connect to the PC via USB.

When I launch the demo, it takes me straight to the controller calibration page. There it recognises only the accelerator pedal as an axis. The brake and clutch pedal are not recognised, i.e. when I push them, there is no movement on the axis page. I have the impression, but not certain, that GPL actually sees the 3 pedals as one axis. When I push the brake or clutch, there seems to be the tiniest movement on the throttle axis.

I can calibrate the steering wheel ok.

Then, in the page to assign controls, I can only assign the steering wheel and the throttle. Brake and clutch are not recognised. Also, I can not assign any action to any of the buttons on my steering wheel. GPL seems to only recognise the axis, not the buttons. As to the keyboard, GPL only seems to recognise the keypad, not the rest of the keys.

I have tried the following:
- the method indicated in the GPL 2020 info document: assign a keyboard key to brake then calibrate the controllers and then assign the actions;
- deleting the control.cfg file and restarting as proposed in the FAQ thread over here;
- installed GPL Shift as proposed in the same thread.

I always get the same result as here above.

I then tried to install GPL 2004 Demo. Same result as GPL 2020 demo. That's funny, because GPL 2004 ran perfectly on my system before. Only changes to the PC since GPL 2004 ran well are that I added an additional SSD HD and replaced the graphics card.

I'm running Win 10.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Requested Ia F1 67

Hi, I would like to know how you can lower the behavior of AI for F1 67, since for more laps I take I am always 2 seconds or 3 seconds below, and in the race I can never fight positions and I get tired of turning , I know what I am asking for is not right, but AI can be made a little easier to be really entertained please. I already tried the GEN + 2 but there is no case, I can't follow the AI in any circuit no matter how much I turn and turn, I would appreciate it. Greetings from Argentina and excuse my English.

Msi Monitor And 1920X1080 In Game

Posted by Jdmartin69 in GPL-"Help! I'm having trouble with..."
After a VERY long absence from GPL,  I"m now retired and have lots of time to do the fun stuff,  like GPL !!  I purchased a new MSI AG32C monitor and am feeding it from a GTX 970 graphics card.  I have the monitor set to it's native resolution of 1920x108,  but no where in GEM+ is that resolution listed,  and therefore I can't select it.

Is it possible to run 1920x1080 in GPL,  and if so,  what am I doing wrong?
