I also have the original covers for some of the other circuits still missing from the F2 series, like zolder and crystal palace, I'll look to get them posted up in due course.
I thought the one I used for Zolder was the original one

Crystal Palace

For Zolder, the program used is for the 1968 Limbourg gp, but tweaked to represent  the year 1967.The image is the start of the 1967 F2 race.

Thks you Duncan if you can find it;I have checked on my book on Zolder, but isn 't here.

a 1967 aerial map of the long defunct Keimola .

That year, to please his wife, Rindt convinced some drivers to attend an F2 race, mixed with F3 .

This is my collection of cover pages, events, page(s) and GEM pic, specifically made for the 1967 F2 mod. I use to have a GPL installation for each mod, therefore I don’t  risk to overwrite files  which cannot be made mod specific by the extension ( i.e. event, page1-5 and GEMpic). Thus watch out for your installation.

Aim it’s always that of being historically accurate. It contains the 10 European Championship race events and other F2 major events which took place on 11 other tracks.  There may be others, but that is what I like to race at the moment.

It contains most of the attachments posted above, so thanks again to all the providers. I mainly focused in preparing the missing F2 events, the GEM pic and sorting out duplications. Note that the championship track folders contain also specific page4 and 5 with 10 columns, I believe prepared by Greg, as the number of championship races, rather than the default 11 of GPL67.

In summary, my understanding is that from the 21 F2 1967 event covers here attached, Albi, Reims, Vallelunga, Zolder and maybe also Keimola are not from real life, but just “inspired”.

If somebody else has different findings from real life, please upload them.

Gianfranco

P.S.: Great mod! So much fun with it! It absolutely needs to be completed with Sudschleife!

Michel (& Dave), you are welcome. I can well imagine that you provided most of the historical evidences also for the 1967 F2mod. If you get time, I would like to ask you if you could check if my finding of the real life grids which I listed in the attached table, is correct. I had several inconsistencies between my F2season file and the various track.ini, so I started to investigate and create ad hoc trackF2.ini, where needed to be historically accurate.

No rush, but I thank you in advance for any information you can find.

Greg, the best site I found on F2 is this one http://www.formula2.net/F267_Index.htm , but only few starting grids are provided. However, knowing the pole sitter, I speculated with photos and videos of the time. :report:

... I said to Remy, but I meant Remy and all team. :thanks:
