Hello all,
finally I took some pictures of the current version of my rig. I hope the pictures can inspire someone, enjoy them!

The cabinet is a modified IKEA Besta that we are using as TV bench in our attic. The left part of the cabinet contains a laptop, the dvd and a wii, all connected to the TV. The central part contains the wheel, shifter and pedals, while in the right part (where i removed the back panel to let th air circulate) there is the driving PC.

The wheel is a Logitech G25. Wheel and shifter are installed to a shelf that can be fixed to the top using 2 clamps.

I removed the pedals from the original casing in order to fix them in my preferred position. They are fixed to a shelf so they can be removed from the cabinet if needed.

Hope you like it!

Hi Peter. Looking good mate 👍😁

What about your driving chair and polished wood floor. I have an image of a bit of sliding about with lack of grip, and not in the game.
Or do you put a mat down or similiar 🤔

Thank you mates!
TP, I'm using the chair you can see folded in the pictures. Its soft plastic stoppers are good enough to keep the chair stable (and my not-so-light body weight is helping too!).

Great looking rig Peter

But it seems you do not race online...
I killed my first G25 by the forces I used, enough to lift my whole desk during a race...

My G27 is now mounted on a flexible but fixed rig with a race-seat and not connected with the stand of the monitor!
Once braking with a load cell (95kg) would push you a meter backwards :shhh:

Hi Axel, thanks!
Yes you are right, I do not race online because I don't have so much occasions to play. Sometimes I'm able to power on the PC just once in a month, or even less, so I'm mostly racing against the AI.
In my driving technique I'm trying to be as light as possible, almost "zen" :drive1:
But in the past I used a lot more force and my old wheel suffered a lot!

Thank you Stefan!
You found a smart solution to stop the chair wheels! :bravo:
