I have McAfee AV installed on my PC. While attempting to either access it from the GEM app or open directly, the AV software detects and deletes a couple files, and so makes it impossible to execute the programs. I can open the AV quarantine to “restore” the deleted files but.....execute again and again the AV attacks. Does anyone here run similar AV, and if so did you have the same issue? How did you address this problem?

Thanks for any help.

I excluded gpl folder in the AV; never had issues since then.
I don't use McAfee products though.

See https://service.mcaf...ate=7fr5jalqi_9

Hmm. It looks like you are not able to exclude full folders.

I excluded the gem.exe and igor.exe and all gpl exe files (original and mods) at my Kaspersky AV software.

Thanks Bob! It appears the 2 files in question (one each for VROC and iGOR) are included in a number of False Positives picked up by McAfee. Will dive in and see if I can reset.

By excluding both the iGOR and VROC exe. files I was able to pull the race (or lack thereof!) lists.....I can access VROC via GEM, and iGOR if I click on the specific icon but get an "unknown" error when attempting to access iGOR via GEM. Is there someone to whom I can forward the crash log for view?
