Unlike most of post 2005 simulators, GPL was typical, mostly closed architecture game from 1990s, not designed for any modding (apart from adding tracks and editing simple stuff like textures). There also wasn't any open SDK ever built for it and no source code was legally/illegally released.

Sometimes all you get is an offer to sell a domain name.
Other times only part of a site or page remains.
Sometimes it all shows up on web crawler archives.
Then there is a small universe of sites and support that has sustained and continues to maintain Grand Prix Legends history.
Like here. (Happy to be a supporter).
If investigation of a dead link yields something relevant please post news of the find.
If you are looking for something, please post a note about it.

Have you tried this GPL Easy Installation Guide?

I have all mods installed in one GPL installation and never broke anything.
But some prefer seperate installtions for each mod.

EDIT:
To be more precise: The question is - do I need to delete some mod's *.exe files everytime I applied a patch?
