Personally I wouldn't buy that wheel.
Looking at the pics, I'm wondering why the "F1" wheel has less buttons (6) available compared to the "GT" wheel (10). Modern F1 cars have just as many adjustments (if not more) than a road car/"GT" car so that doesn't seem to make sense.
Also I'm not impressed with the positioning of the buttons on either of the wheels. I've got my G27 in front of me and I'm imagining how I would use the buttons if they were on my wheel. None of the buttons (apart from the gear shift paddles) are within range of my fingers or thumbs (with the possible
exception of the yellow buttons), which means I would have to take my hand off
the wheel to press them. That's not good.
Also, there's no mention of a shifter. If you're going for realism, I can't understand how a manufacturer could omit a shifter.
The ad also states that "the torque is roughly seven times greater than the G27....". I don't like really powerful force feedback. I could easily increase the level of force and stiffness of my G27 if I wanted to, but the level I have now is just right for me to enjoy the sims I drive without me feeling that I'm wrestling an Okefenokee Swamp alligator. I guess if you're a total purist, and sometimes you want to have your thumbs broken by an impact, then massive torque is what you need. But it's not for me.
