Maybe stupid question, why is Nascar2003 so bloody expensive, and others don't??
What's so special about 2003, what the other years don't have??
I ask this because of the very differend prices!  Thanks for your support,......Hez. :)

Because it was made by Papyrus (same who made GPL) and the other later ones weren't. There was also all the hype and publicity made by Fir$t's litigations with the N2k3 mod teams.

Yes, it's good, but the price is largely due to a small supply and large demand.  The CDs aren't made any more.

You should be protected by amazon, although I haven't bought 2nd hand stuff from them. Read all the legal stuff.

browsing around one of the 3 insane sellers pages...  http://www.amazon.co...f...;rh=&page=4

I guess most of these are hard to get items but, $600 for a video game? Will someone actually pay that?
Yikes

I suppose it would be more expensive than a years' worth of iRacing. How? Well subs are $156/pa then there are 23 tracks available, at the moment, averaged at $20 @ and then with 20% bulk discount that comes out to $368.  Add the annual sub and the total is $524.

So if you buy Nascar for $633, which certainly has more than 23 tracks, and you keep it for more than 1 1/2 yrs then you have saved yourself some money.

:P

I've seen it for $60 at amazon.

I think another reason why the game is worth so much is because of all the additions for it. I mean you can really have a good time with everything there is to add to it. And on top of that, is top notch Simulation time, even without and additions.
