Hello guys!!

Info at http://freeleo.hu/we...info&race=20191

First event of the "AdHoc Series", with the aim of racing the 1967x together with most enthusiasts of the mod in a hour and day convenient for people in the Americas and Europe.
At least by now they will be non-point races, with free Shift-R and chassis, without Marshalls and no Password.

The "prize" to the winner will be the selection of the next track in the Series.

Day: January 6, 2019
Server: Hauls2 on iGOR (thanks to Warren Hall)
Hour: 11 AM of Argentina (9 of New York, 14 of London)
Qualy: 30 minutes
Laps: 33 (between 35 and 40 minutes long)
Mode: Int Long

Be careful on start given that I can't modify the grid (and don't know which grid Warren use for each track)

The next track will be selected by the winner in the GPL chat just after the race, so, if you plan to win the race... have a track in mind ;)

See you on Sunday! Long Live GPL!

Marcos

stall_2 = 3725.80 -3.88

stall_3 = 3717.80 3.88

stall_4 = 3709.80 -3.88

EDIT.  A novel "rank" for the series will be implemented (thanks to Jani Posta).
Points of the ranks for each driver will be based on the last eleven races in the season. Points as GPL default. 1 Bonus point for each used car in these races.
Still, the series still will be something in middle between isolated funraces and a league as such. There will not be "a champion" but temporary #1 ranked driver.

No problem, Jani. Thanks!

I can't get in. If I join via IP the game just CTDs.

What's your iGOR chat room?

Bad luck, Yannick.  I don't believe that a chatroom was nominated.

I thought the event at The Glen went off rather well.  The mod ran flawlessly from my POV.  Fast and fun.  Apologies to Ricardo for drilling him in the tail approaching The Loop on Lap02.  My bad.

Grats to the podium and all finishers.

By luck, I found myself in P3 and in with a shot to challenge Marcos for P2 after he spun.  I turned up the boost...a click too far.

Hi Yannick... I've seen that you had problems to get into the server. Is strange what happened to you. Are you sure you have the online edition installed and not only the original 67x, isn't it?

I hope you could solve those issues soon.

Cheers, Marcos

My race was very funny and was fighting by positions almost all the time.

Both the mod as the server worked very well. I was several laps racing wheel to wheel with John Hammonds, at almost 11000 km of distance and both distant from the server by several thousands km ;)

Ok, I supposed it... Hauls2 server will be online these days and I could host the 67x in the Mybroga server too, to check if it's either something with your installation of the mod or some issue with the server.

Cheers. Marcos

Hello guys!

Is it ok if we race 1 hour later? WG race was too early for some Western USA and Mexican drivers.

OK by me, Marcos.  I'm not far from Toronto.  The start of qualifying for me today was 09:00 hours.  It could be put back a good hour or two and be fine.

I had a great time here, Dropped to last place after a love tap going into the loop on lap 1 but with others misfortunes was able to work my way back up the order. Had a great battle with Marcos and Ricardo towards the end of the race which went on for about 6 laps until Ricardo lost it around Lap 29? (Screen Shots were all taken around Lap 28 of 33).

I don't have the offline historical mod but found these take some getting used to compared to the regular 67's seemingly having a bit more grip in slower to medium speed corners. I didn't like it to begin with but I actually think it feels a bit more natural after giving them a chance.

Sunday's are a bit difficult for me due to having our grandson each weekend and every weekend is a bit of an adventure at the moment. But I don't really have any preference as far as race times are concerned so I'll try to make it what ever time suits everyone else.

Keep in touch for additional data here and the weekly ;)
