If anyone has a fix, that would be great.
Thanks again.

Generically for GTR2:
Right-click on the shortcut and in the properties tab modify:
"xxxxx\GTR2\GTR2.exe" adding a space and -trace=1000 so it finally looks like this:
"xxxxx\GTR2\GTR2.exe -trace=1000"
This will create a trace file, found in GTR2\Userdata\Log with the name trace.txt
Usually near the bottom of this file you will find something missing, corrupt, or not loading.

TRACE LEVEL = 1000
netcomm.cpp 7902: NetComm checking command line: "-trace=1000"
game.cpp 633: Entered Game::Enter()
osman.cpp 469: Entered OSMan::Enter()
Don't know what is wrong with that.
Need to say when i select an Austin, it's take a lot of time to show the car (MkII) but then i can race it fine ; but the problem is with the Austin MkI models, they don't show up and if i hit the start button the game crashes.
Thanks again.

I suspect you have a missing or corrupt 3D file for that Austin, or a bad filename. When installing did you choose the option to create a separate P&G folder, or just add P&G as a mod to your GTR2 install? The former is preferable.
My first thought is to reinstall P&G, along with the updates (I think there were two). The slow loading of the MkII indicates some issue with that car, but one which does not prevent it from loading, but since some files are shared between the two cars it's possible the same issue is causing the crash with the MkI. If you do not see a car in the preview window it means it doesn't exist for the game, trying to continue will always cause a crash.
Try this - delete the trace.txt (a new one will be generated as long as the command line switch is active); start the sim, select any other car, run a couple of laps and exit, rename that trace.txt; repeat, selecting the MkII, rename that trace.txt; repeat again, selecting the MkI, after the crash rename that trace.txt. By comparing the three you may find the problem.
(I don't have access to my P&G right now - dead mobo in my gaming system - so am working from memory; but am 95% certain you have a missing or unreadable file for the Austin.)

And mine is a separate P&G install, if i can't fix the issue without reinstalling well i'm gonna leave it that way and forget about the MkI.
Anyway i appreciate your time.

Hi tdurrett, looked at it and it's just like you wrote down, no trouble there.
Thanks again.
An over problem, yesterday the game crashed (on Austin MkI) and the game started all over again, did not recognize my player name.

If your player disappeared your plr file either got deleted or for some reason the game cannot read it.
