Here is a graphics boost for Steve Evasic's excellent Pennsylvania track. This little gem is a blast in the 65 cars and is a personal favorite of mine. Steve used all default Papyrus mips/srbs and I wanted to see what Blue Mtn would look like decked out with higher definition graphics. I think the results are quite good. This track deserves a little better a-i and hopefully someone will give it some because Blue Mtn can become a wreckfest at times but is an absolute joy to race on.

I tried to match this Pocono Mountains locale with the appropriate update and I think the many GPL Repository textures I used do just that. Enjoy this one. :)

You like this one,Craig? I do think it is one of the better update I have come up with because I wasn't hampered by having to adhere to as strict of an accuracy standpoint as when dealing with a real track, and Blue Mtn unlike most of the older tracks has plenty of object 3do's to work with. That was a pleasant change. Other than the billboards I pretended I was dealing with a real n.e. Pennsylvania track location. Thank you for your responce.

Hands down, the best GPL track I've ever driven in the 65s!!! Thanks for this new update. I didn't see it in the track database.

Yes I got the track there but there is no SRMZ link to Kenny's killer update.

Thanks for your efforts.

Cheers,

Will

Oh I though you meant the track , not the update, sorry
Is not there because is just came out the day before you downloaded it, let's give a couple of weeks to dangermouse to link it to the ATDB

Mybroga ran this track a couple weeks ago, and in 2 out of 3 divisions there were too many lockups/screen freezes to continue the race. Most ran with the update, but even without it, people were having freezes. Too bad, because the update is fantastic...

I errored naming the spectator mips. Your track folder will have people and crowd mips that serve no purpose and too much repetition of the same type mip that does show up. The only way to fix the problem is to go into the track folder and eliminate every mip that is named crowd or people, then install this zip. I apologize for the inconvenience but it is worth the effort because this track looks better.

OK Kenny, Thanks for this. I will test it after I find the time to test your last 15 updates :P  If I see the same spectator too many times I will complain

Seriously though, you really are making this game all that more enjoyable, if that's possible. :clap2:

Mr. Burns, you surely are a scholar and a gentleman and maybe the nicesst human being I've never met face to face in my life.

If I may be so permitted to go off topic briefly-2 days ago I lost my long time canine companion that you see in my avatar. He was at my feet for everyone of these updates up to Jacare and next to my telescope for every nightly astro mission with my telescopes over a 10 and half year period. His name was Maynard G. Krebbs, named after an American TV character. At present I'm emotionally devastated but believe without doing what I'm doing with these updates,I'd be a wreck. Please bear with me and I thank all in the GPL community. :(

Kenny,
I know exactly what you feel now. It happened to me twice in a year! It is very very hard but you are moving on now to the next curve... This is how our route is meant to be. Take it easy my friend :(
