Hello,

I've found the exsisting Pescara track is only in alpha stage.
Is there any progress regarding this fantastic circuit?  :)

Regards,

I do believe it is being worked on see this thread http://srmz.net/inde...i...12&start=12

Before RSC crashed there was a thread with either attached screenshots or a link to a website with them I can't quite remember.

For me, Pescara is the one obvious missing circuit we don't have for GPL that i would love to see as it is an actual F1 track.

I love the longer, older, more dangerous tracks that we have such as Brno49 which was the first track i downloaded for GPL from the database a couple of years ago. A great combination of flat out risk/reward sections with tight twisty sections inbetween.

If Pescara was to be made to the same standard as Brno49, then it would be fantastic.

I'm not in any hurry as i have more than enough to entertain me within GPL from all the great Tracks and Mods we already have, but would love to see Pescara one day in the future.

Pescara is in the making and its standards are very high.
Federico is from Pescara and he's making a really great job with it
Maybe he can pop in here and show you some screenies of his work so far, I saw his work and is really good!
Ciao!

Thats great news Ginetto!! Thanks for the update.

Great to know this is being worked on, and also great to know the standard is high.

Would love to see some screen shots of how its coming along.

Its good we have a local guy in Federico having input into this track.

Looking forward to it someday.

That's great news! :D Hope we will all get to drive this track. I tried the alpha version but it was very hard to learn where to brake because the environment is so static, just grass.

:drool2: That looks absolutely brilliant!

If anything the skies seems a bit grainy.

It looks as though those screenshots might have been taken for testing purposes:
[a] They show the standard Papyrus cars, not the GPLEA ones,
[b] They seem to be quite low-res (just look at the curve of the steering wheel),
[c] The sky texture looks like it's 16-bit.

Judging by the quality of the building textures, and the close correspondence to the photos, my bet is that when we can see it at high-res, and with 32-bit textures, it will look superb.

Keep up the good work, Federico, and buona fortuna for the rest of the project!     :clap2:

Hi

Any news on this fantastic circuit?

Its Ok, i don't want a release date, i realise this will be a long time away, but just thought i'd keep this circuit in people's minds.

Looking forward to it, and hopefully keep up the great work.

I'm guessing this great track will not be completed?

Its Ok, only asking as i think the track layout looks fantastic. I know people are busy and that these projects are huge and take years and sometimes the work stops, so no problem.
