I wont have time to break out the wheel and drive until later tonight, but just from a quick run through, all I can say is WOW.  The cockpits look great and are nice and sharp at 2560x1600.  Well done guys. As always, it was worth the wait.  :hat-tip:

Any high-res goodies to go with this Sky? :)

Curt

curt, there may just be some goodies left on the shelves for now ;).

as it is the cockpits showing via the default install should be the equivalent to 1024x1024 dashboard textures of previous mods. that is unless it changed from the earlier version that i am still using. i haven't gotten around to installing the release version (despite uploading it lol) yet. anyway, i say equivalent to 1024x1024 textures as i've decided to re"design" them to be widescreen - for easier editing. so they are not actually square (1:1) 1024x1024 as they used to be for most  mods, but double width and half the height (2:0.5). it just worked out better for most cars with the exception being the shadow MK2.
you know me, of course there are higher res versions available. and again, i'm not sure if they are part of the install or not (too busy with RL recently). mod filesize would lead me to think they are not - if indeed they are not, i can upload them at a later time. although for anyone running less than 2k resolutions these should not really be necessary. and probably not even for you running 2560. however double the resolution (4096x1024) is available and that should be more than enough for everyone. i could still double the resolution of that twice more (to 16384x4096) if needed - but i doubt anyone is running a triple-4k screen setup just yet . plus that would be a shedload of texture memory gone for just the dashboards...

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What a dramatically awesome mod this is! Just had an awesome time racing at Watkins Glen with the Porsche! I may have crashed while lapping those privateer McLaren's, but I enjoyed every single second of it!

The cockpits look magnificent and I agree that there's no need for a higher res, it's plenty sharp enough even at my resolution.  I was referring to car skins like your 32 bit GT's.  Anyway, real life always takes precedence and I'm grateful for whatever goodies you guys send our way.

The release has the 2048x512 versions.  Had to leave something for you to add later.   :D

Hey guys, grats on the mod! I can't wait to drive it, however I'm experiencing CTDs when I click the green the green button to begin driving. Everything works fine up to this point, I've tried with or without the carsound patch, same result... I am, obviously, using the V2 rasts and all the other mods I use work on the same install of GPL  :o

Any clue as to how to fix that?
