Title say is all.

I have been unable to reach the GPL master links page for a few days.

Is it me or is anyone else having problems?

Thanks in advance

Yes, I get "Unable to connect". If there's a problem with the DNS servers, or some other temporary internet problem, I usually get a "timed out" message or something similar. But I've seen the "Unable to connect" message before, and it usually means that the website servers themselves are offline.

Cheers thanks for the confirmation it's not a problem on my end. I'll wait patently for it (hopefully) to return.

Hi Tigs,

Track database is fine.  Its gpl links that has the problems.

Gpllinks.org

Paul.

Just tried. Still seems to be an issue. Hope everything is ok. Really worries me when one of our main sites go AWOL.

Hopeful you all know gpllinks.org is back.
It has been restructured and moved to GitHub.
Links to the domain have not changed.
It is still www.gpllinks.org.

This may or not be a "permanent" move,
Who knows?

One thing that could be very good about the move is GitHub capability to present a full blown community supported active website compared to the simple links page that is there now.

In this regard gpllinks could have a bright future and offer much more help and promotion of editor's and creator's work.

HOWEVER,

At the moment there is no one associated with gpllinks link editing, (afaik), who is capable of doing anything on GitHub.
The move was expeditious because gpllinks obsolete embedded editing software was a security risk.
The quickest easiest solution was move it all to GitHub.

For the moment there will be no updating of existing links and no adding new links.

Someone has to step up.

Any with interest are welcome to PM.
